Fort Mill Cellular Warranty Terms and Conditions
Repair Authorization
By submitting your device for repair, you grant permission to Fort Mill Cellular to perform any action deemed necessary in an attempt to repair your device. You acknowledge that Fort Mill Cellular is not liable for any data loss, software issues, or component failures that may occur during or after the repair process, including but not limited to testing or diagnostics.
Liability Disclaimer
Fort Mill Cellular is not responsible for any loss of profit or direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from device service or purchase. By agreeing to these terms, you release Fort Mill Cellular from liability for:
Any data loss during or after the repair.
Component failures occurring at any stage of the repair process.
Return and Warranty Policy
7-Day Return Policy: Customers may return devices within 7 days of purchase if they change their mind. No restocking fee applies during this period. After 7 days, all sales are final.
90-Day Limited Warranty: After the initial 7-day period, any eligible issues will be addressed under our 90-day warranty, which begins on the day of sale.
Warranty Coverage
Customer Responsibility:
Customers must replicate the issue to qualify for warranty service. Repairs will not be performed if the issue cannot be replicated.
Voiding of Warranty:
Warranty is void if the device exhibits any physical or liquid damage.
Any repairs performed by shops other than Fort Mill Cellular void the warranty entirely.
Water Resistance Disclaimer:
Water resistance or waterproofness is not guaranteed after repairs. Customers should assume the device is no longer resistant to water post-repair.
Screen Protector Coverage:
Screen protectors do not guarantee protection against cracks or other screen damage.
The screen protector warranty only covers the protector itself, not the device’s screen.
Battery and Shattered Screens:
Devices with shattered screens or severe physical or liquid damage pose an elevated risk of battery issues. Fort Mill Cellular highly recommends that customers monitor such devices for signs of battery rupture, such as swelling, overheating, or reduced performance.
Fort Mill Cellular is not responsible for any consequences resulting from battery issues. If we identify significant risks during inspection, we will notify the customer.
Refurbished Device Disclaimer
Refurbished devices sold by Fort Mill Cellular may contain third-party or non-OEM components. These devices are fully tested for functionality but may exhibit cosmetic imperfections, such as minor scratches or scuffs. Such imperfections are covered under warranty for 48 hours after purchase. After this period, cosmetic issues are not covered.
Trade-In Policy
Devices traded in must meet specific condition requirements outlined at the time of the trade-in assessment. Fort Mill Cellular reserves the right to adjust the trade-in value based on the device’s condition.
Customers must verify ownership of traded-in devices. Fort Mill Cellular is not responsible for any discrepancies related to ownership claims.
No Responsibility for Customer Misuse
Fort Mill Cellular is not liable for damages resulting from customer misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications made to the device after purchase or repair. Examples include, but are not limited to, physical damage, liquid exposure, and improper handling.
Customer Communication Policy
Fort Mill Cellular strives to respond to warranty claims or service inquiries promptly. Customers can expect a response within 1-2 business days via the preferred method of communication (email or phone). Delays may occur during peak periods.
Refund Processing Time
Refunds for returns, if applicable, will be processed within 5-7 business days after the returned device is received and inspected. Refunds to credit or debit cards may take additional time depending on the customer’s financial institution.
Legal and Compliance
By agreeing to these terms, customers waive all rights to seek damages outside the scope of this agreement. These terms are subject to change without prior notice. It is the customer’s responsibility to review the most current terms at the time of service or purchase.
